Price and Washington also advanced to quarterfinals in their most successful debate of the season where they also placed 6th and 3rd for Top Speaker, respectively.
Overall this has been a busy month, but it has also been rewarding. We've challenged a lot of the conventions of the debate community, and we've learned how to better prepare ourselves for the types of confrontations that ensue whenever one is advocating major change to a stagnant system. For the month of November, we plan to come home with even better results from James Madison University, Wake Forest University and Appalachia State University.
